The Milwaukee Bucks just got the best Christmas present they could have possibly asked for. Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to be active and available for action as they take on the Boston Celtics.

The news was reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, noting that the Bucks star would make his return barring any setbacks.

The Bucks have done reasonably well in the five games that Giannis Antetokounmpo has missed due to being in health and safety protocols. They've gone 3-2 without their MVP in the middle. But there's never a wrong time to bring back your best player, as both he and sidelined guard Donte DiVincenzo are set to take the court on Saturday afternoon.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has looked as good as he's ever been this season, averaging 27.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game to go along with 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks. While he's putting up stellar numbers in the regular season, Bucks fans know he'll take it to another level come playoff time, as he did during their amazing title run last postseason.

With Giannis back healthy and in shape, the Bucks can continue to climb the standings to set themselves up for another deep run on their quest for a repeat championship.
