Current NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has all the attributes of a superstar. The dominant dunks, highlight reel-worthy blocks, and superhero physique allowed him to check almost all the boxes. Now that the Greek Freak has his own shoe, he can confidently say that he has checked them all. Giannis spoke on actually holding his signature shoe  and how it made him feel like a true star:

“That’s when it hit me. I was like, ‘OK, this is crazy … I might be like Kobe, KD, LeBron, all these guys that have their own signature shoe and play with it in the game. I was really, really happy. As a kid, growing up, I never thought, I’m gonna have my own signature shoe. I never wanted to have my own signature shoe. … That wasn’t a goal or dream of mine.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo is undoubtedly worthy of having his own name brand. The Freak put up ridiculous numbers in his MVP season, averaging 27.7 points, 12,5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. He took a step forward from his previous season, going from a very good player to top five in the best league in the world.

Now that Giannis has his new shoe, he'll be looking to accomplish his next goal, winning a championship. With the team the Bucks have assembled, he'll have a good shot at it.
