Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has won the MVP award twice already, and he just showed Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid how he did that: by making game-winning plays.

On Tuesday as the Bucks faced off against the Sixers, Antetokounmpo delivered for Milwaukee with an incredible performance. He finished with 40 points, 14 rebounds and six assists to power the team to a crucial 118-116 win over Philly. However, it was not his scoring that proved to be the most crucial, but instead his game-winning block on Embiid with less than two seconds left that decided the contest.

It was Giannis' third block of the game, and man, it couldn't have come at a better time. When it looked like Embiid was going to get his MVP moment, Antetokounmpo came soaring like Superman to send the ball away.

Joel Embiid is on a tight MVP battle against Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and that denial certainly won't help his case. Of course that won't be the only basis, but with their teams almost having similar records, it might all come down to their individual matchups when voters decide their MVPs.

The Cameroonian center for the Sixers did have a monster game for himself with 29 points, 14 boards and seven dimes. Had he made the shot and led Philly to a win, the talk right now would probably be how he is the clear favorite to win MVP.

The Bucks improved to no. 2 in the East with a 47-28 record, while the Sixers remain fourth at 46-29.
