Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo just tallied his second straight 40-point game, which puts him halfway from breaking a Michael Jordan record in the NBA Finals. However, before comparisons start coming in, the Greek Freak wants to clarify one thing: he's nowhere near MJ.

Jordan holds the record for most consecutive 40-point games in the NBA Finals with four, which he accomplished in 1993 against the Phoenix Suns as well. In Game 3 against Chris Paul and the Arizona-based team, Giannis scored 41 points to follow-up from his 42-point explosion in Game 2.

While talks about his MJ-like feat started to surface, Giannis quickly played down the expectations and emphasized that comparisons should not be made between him and the Chicago Bulls legend  who is often considered the GOAT of NBA.

“I'm not Michael Jordan,” the Bucks superstar said, per Sam Amick of The Athletic. “I'm not Michael Jordan.”

It's understandable why Giannis doesn't want to be compared to anyone, let alone His Airness. After all, the 26-year-old forward is yet to prove he can lead his Bucks to the promised land.

If there's any inspiration Antetokounmpo can take from Jordan's brilliant 40-poinnt streak in 1993, though, it is the fact that MJ's scoring heroics powered the Bulls to their third straight title. It remains to be seen if Giannis can do the same, but that is some good company to be part in as he tries bring the Larry O'Brien trophy back to Milwaukee.
