Earlier this week, former Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant took to social media to send out challenges to several prominent professional athletes and music artists.

This had incited a response from Milwaukee Bucks All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was looking for his own challenge to be handed out by the future Hall of Famer. It now appears that Bryant has obliged on Sunday morning by giving him a short but direct message.

Antetokounmpo has already levied this level of expectations upon himself earlier this summer as voiced that believes he could earn both the MVP and Most Improved award next season. The 22-year-old has developed into a rising star in the NBA that is coming off an impressive campaign where he averaged 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game earned him his first All-Star Game selection, the Most Improved Player award, and an All-NBA Second Team nod.

He was also only the fifth player in league history to lead his team in each of those five categories while being the first to place in the top 20 in each of those respective categories in a single season. There is certainly plenty of potential for Antetokounmpo to become a serious candidate in the MVP conversation not only next season but beyond that, if he can build off what he did last season.

That said, he will have some stiff competition for the prestigious award dealing with the likes of reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden just to name a few. This sets the bar quite high for Antetokounmpo, but it's a challenge that he's willing to take head on.
