Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the hottest players in the league, and teams will be moving heaven and earth if it means getting him to their team. Of course, the Milwaukee Bucks should be concerned that their star man is about to become a free agent. However, head coach Mike Budenholzer is confident that his star man will remain a Buck by the time the 2020-21 season begins.

ESPN's Eric Woodyard got to talk to Budenholzer to discuss the incoming free agency of the Greek Freak. The coach recognizes that there is a real threat of Giannis Antetokounmpo not returning to the Bucks, but he's very confident that he will continue playing for Milwaukee.

Budenholzer is incredibly positive about Giannis staying based on his words:

“I think the team has been incredibly focused, he's been getting incredibly focused just on each day, getting better, competing with his group and being respectful with what we'ere doing now. I don’t know maybe there’s more than I realize but he seems in a great place, the group’s in a great place and we’ll hopefully keep it rolling.”

The Greek Freak is playing outstanding basketball, and teams will definitely try to pry him away. He's averaging an incredible 30.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists every game. He's steadily adding a three-point shot to his game, but his ability to get into the rim is unrivaled throughout the association.

Giannis is adamant with his refusal to talk about his free agency, insisting that the team should take precedence over him. However, the words of Budenholzer should give Milwaukee fans hope that he'll be signing a supermax with the team that drafted him once free agency opens in July 2020.
