The Milwaukee Bucks got off to a dominant start against the Miami Heat, outscoring the reigning Eastern Conference champions, 83-51 in the first half.

A huge part of Milwaukee's hot start can be attributed to their insane 3-point shooting. In fact, the Cream City squad set a franchise record for 3-pointers made in a single half with 15.

Here's Khris Middleton's shot that broke the Bucks' previous record for triples made in a half:

Middleton led the way for the Bucks through the first two frames, thanks to his 20 points, three assists and two rebounds. Superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has also strung together a well-rounded effort of his own en route to scoring seven points alongside his five assists and four rebounds across 16 minutes of play in the opening half.

It is also worth noting that four Milwaukee players have scored in double figures and all 10 Bucks seeing time on the court have scored.

Of course, the Bucks won the Eastern Conference during the 2019-20 regular season despite coming up way short come playoff time–which could be playing into the team's performance against Miami. On the other hand, the Heat, a team that seemingly came out of nowhere down in Orlando, ultimately reached the NBA Finals as the 2019-20 Eastern Conference Champions before falling short against the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers.
