The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Pau Gasol for a month due to a left ankle injury, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN.

Gasol has only played in three games with the Bucks. The veteran big man joined Milwaukee after reaching a buyout agreement with the San Antonio Spurs.

In the three games he appeared in with the Bucks, Pau Gasol averaged 1.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game.

It's been a difficult season for Gasol, who is 38-years-old. He missed a handful of games with the Spurs due to a stress fracture in his left foot.

The Bucks have the best record in the NBA and will likely have the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Milwaukee added Gasol to give their front court another scorer and rebounder.

We'll see if Gasol is able to make it back in the later rounds of the playoffs should the Bucks advance past the first-round. Milwaukee hasn't won a playoff series since 2001.

Gasol, who won two titles with Kobe Bryant on the Los Angeles Lakers, is putting up 3.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30 games this season with the Spurs and Bucks while shooting 44.7 percent from the field.
