President Joe Biden welcomed in the Milwaukee Bucks to celebrate the team's NBA championship last season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had an incredible playoff last year. During the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks, Giannis went down with what looked like a season-ending injury that would have taken him out from the playoffs and possibly the season after. Giannis miraculously had no structural damage to his knee and was able to come back to help Milwaukee secure their first title in 50 years.

He capped off his incredible playoff run with 50 points in Game 6 of the NBA Championship to secure the Bucks that title. President Biden had some words for the Bucks star,

“Giannis…50 points. 50 points to seal Game Six.”

President Biden realizes that what Giannis did is a once-in-a-lifetime performance. Having 50 points in a closeout final game isn't something that is seen every day in the NBA. Only seven players in NBA history have done this. Giannis is a two time MVP, DPOY, and now an NBA Champion. He also won the NBA finals MVP. His playoff run was one of the greatest in NBA history.

The Bucks will look to win another title this year and having Giannis on your team will definitely help those chances. Milwaukee has been banged up to start the season and are 4-6. Giannis has played great despite his team being severely injured. Once they are all healthy the Bucks will be back competing for an NBA title.
