Following the hiring of David Fizdale by the New York Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks only have two of their top three prospects remaining on this coaching carrousel.

According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt could wind up as the winner of it, especially if former Atlanta Hawks boos Mike Budenholzer chooses to sit out the season.

Blatt is already in talks for this position and is reportedly considered one of the franchise's top choices, especially after Fizdale was hired.

The Knicks and Bucks were reportedly battling for some of the same candidates, but New York had a head start, interviewing a total of 12 candidates after the firing of Jeff Hornacek right after the team landed, having finished the regular season with another loss to the Cavaliers.

Blatt's European resume is one of the best in the business, but his time as coach of the Cavs proved to be a different hit to take, considering the surprise return of LeBron James, which was out of the picture when he signed up for the job.

The Bucks are looking for a coach that can relate to the young players in the roster and put a structure that is based on their strengths, rather than a systematic one like Jason Kidd had in place.
