Kim Kardashian slayed it during her October appearance on the iconic comedy program SNL as she joked about her ex-husband Kanye West, her mom, and even her infamous ex-boyfriend Ray-J. What the reality superstar chose to steer clear of, however, was Chicago Bulls big man Tristan Thompson, who happens to be the ex of her sister, Khloe.
In a recent episode of the hit show The Kardashians, Kim revealed how she decided to scrap a specific joke about the Bulls veteran from her opening monologue on SNL. Apparently, the playful jab went a bit too far (h/t Caroline Blair of Page Six):
“Oh, Khloé, you have the biggest heart. It’s so big it has room for Tristan and all of his side pieces,” Kim said while running ideas for her monologue past expert comedian Amy Schumer.
“Oh s–t,” a stunned Schumer responded.
That's not so bad, I guess? I mean, Tristam Thompson's infidelity issues have been well-documented so it's not as if this is a taboo subject. Then again, Kim was probably looking out for her own sister here, who also happens to share a child with the Bulls big man.
One thing we can say for sure is that Thompson doesn't exactly hold a stellar reputation within the Kardashian household.
