The Chicago Bulls completed an impressive come from behind victory on Saturday, as the team used a huge second half performance to come away with a 118-116 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the United Center. The Bulls would have to do this, however, without their prized big man in Wendell Carter Jr., who continues to sit on the sidelines as he recovers from his severe high right ankle sprain.

A couple of weeks ago, the Bulls announced that they expected to have Carter on the shelves for four to six weeks, which was a huge blow for A Chicago side looking to turn things around. Recently, the 6-foot-9 big man opened up about his injury, making it abundantly clear that he does not want to be known as an injury-prone type of player.

As Carter said above, he also suffered a long-term injury at almost the same time last season. He required surgery on his injured thumb, which would end up costing him the rest of the campaign. This time around, though, Carter's current injury is not expected to be of the season-ending variety, so we should still expect to see him take the floor for the Bulls.

Carter is looking at the silver lining here, as he fully expects to overcome the latest hurdle he is faced with. At this point, the Bulls are just a game and a half outside the playoffs picture in the East, so this should serve as further motivation for the team to bring back Carter as soon as he is one hundred percent healthy.
