With the coronavirus pandemic still affecting the world, players around the NFL have been trying to find ways to spend their time wisely. It's safe to say that Chandler Jones of the Arizona Cardinals used his time wisely. According to Mark Dalton, the Senior VP of the Cardinals, Jones officially graduated with a degree from Syracuse.

Back in the 2012 NFL Draft, Jones was selected with the No. 21 pick by the New England Patriots. But before he joined the Patriots, Jones attended Syracuse, showing an interest in human development and family sciences.

However, after showing potential at Syracuse, it was evident that Jones would have a future in the NFL. Therefore, he chose to put his other interests on the back burner as he pursued a career in the NFL.

Over the course of his four seasons with the Patriots, Jones was able to notch a total of 36 sacks and 10 forced fumbles. In his second-to-last season with New England in 2014, Jones was able to secure his first and only Super Bowl ring.

Following the 2015 season, Jones signed with the Cardinals, hoping that he could evolve into a premier edge rusher. Without a doubt, Jones has become one of the most underrated edge rushers in the NFL, amassing 60 sacks and 17 forced fumbles since arriving in Arizona. His 19 sacks in 2019 set a single-season record for the Cardinals.

As a matter of fact, Jones has racked up 96 sacks since 2012 (the most in the NFL in that span). Throughout his career, he's earned three Pro Bowl bids and two All-Pro honors. Now, with a degree at Syracuse, Jones can add another impressive achievement to his resume.
