LeBron James is back in Cleveland to face the Cavaliers, but he's once again playing for a different franchise in the Los Angeles Lakers.

The crowd that once supported him did not turn their back on him this time. Instead, they were delighted to see him and gave him a standing ovation. LeBron's return to the Q was met with delight from the fans whose championship-drought was ended by him.

The City of Cleveland has not won a title from 1948. But all of that change in LeBron's second coming, when they came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the heavily favored Warriors in 7.

The people of Cleveland now has proven their real love for King James, who now plays for the Lakers.

Eight years ago, fans burned James' jerseys as a show of disgust towards him when he “left for South Beach”. One of the fans present in the arena even brought a placard sign that stated that “traitors don't leave legacies.” He was booed every time he touched the ball then.

Now Cleveland is grateful for him, whether he plays for them or not as they were finally able to see his efforts and, more importantly, an NBA title trophy. It is a clear indication that LeBron will always be remembered as one of the greats. Or probably the greatest ever to have played for the city.
