For a five-time All-Star, Al Horford is a relatively mild-mannered presence on the Boston Celtics and throughout his 15-year NBA campaign. But his sister, Anna, has made sure to voice her opinions on matters relating to his career.

With the hot topic from Game 3 being on Celtics fans chanting obscenities at Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green, Anna Horford made sure to voice out her take on the matter as well.

“People try so hard to villainize Boston’s fan base when the behavior from our fans is pretty much on par with just about every other team in the NBA. Passion is everywhere. Vulgarity is everywhere. Like it or not, it’s part of the game – always has been,” Horford said.

While it's not exactly the best justification to say “Because others are doing it, then we can do it, too,” Anna Horford is right that such behavior isn't exactly exclusive to fans in Boston. The fan bases in neighboring areas with teams such as New York and Philadelphia aren't exactly known for being the most forgiving set of fans out there. Referees will be the first to tell you that obscenities are deeply ingrained as part of the game at this point.

Draymond Green and most of the Warriors have voiced their opinion against what they sarcastically referred to as “classy” behavior from Boston fans. But when NBA commissioner Adam Silver agrees with Anna Horford in his desire not to curtail the passion from fan bases like the Celtics', expect more of the same in Game 4.
