The Boston Celtics are 2-3 in the 2022 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. In other words, Game 6 on Thursday is a must-win for the Celtics to keep their championship hopes alive.

Unfortunately for the Celtics, the Warriors are one of the most successful franchises in the past ten years. They've won three NBA titles since 2015, making the Game 6 that much more daunting.

Jaylen Brown doesn't see it that way. He discussed the team's poised mindset ahead of Thursday night's matchup.

“We're looking to give it everything we got,” Brown said. “We are not scared. We do not fear the Golden State Warriors. We want to come out and just play the best version of basketball that we can. We know it's a good team over there, we know they've done it before. But we have all the belief in ourselves.”

The Celtics guard explained how the team's mindset has prepared them to “embrace” their upcoming challenge.

“Everything that we learn this year is like a badge of honor that we wear. We don't let it hang over our heads, we bounce back. We've been able to respond well all year.”

Brown pointed towards Game 5 and said that it was an embodiment of the Celtics' entire season. Now, with Game 5 as another “badge of honor,” the Celtics look to “bounce back” with a win Thursday night.
