The reigning Super Bowl MVP is having yet another strong campaign for the Kansas City Chiefs. Per Hayley Lewis of KSHB, Patrick Mahomes could very well be on the way to achieving an insane quarterback milestone:

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is on track to have another record year. No NFL quarterback in history has thrown for more than 40 touchdowns and had fewer than five interceptions in one season. So far the Super Bowl MVP has thrown 25 touchdowns and has only been picked off once, meaning he’s right on pace to surpass yet another milestone.

That's an absurdly difficult mark to achieve. With seven weeks to go, that is definitely within striking distance for Mahomes.

The reigning champs have lost just one game the entire 2020 season and that came at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders. Coincidentally, Mahomes' only interception this season came in that loss. Raiders safety Jeff Heath was the one that picked off Mahomes' lone error on the season.

As they prepare for another showdown against Las Vegas, the 25-year old vowed not to repeat the same mistakes this coming Sunday.

“For me, just trying to build a memory bank of the things that they have done to be in the past and then at the same time be ready for things he could present to me during the game his year,” Mahomes said.

Meanwhile, Heath hopes that the Raiders can duplicate their huge win over the Chiefs a little over a month ago.
