Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has already shown his fondness for luxury watchmaker brand Rolex in recent years. He recently showed off his stylish side once again when he wore a Rolex Daytona Rainbow to complement his pre-game fit.
According to GQ's Cam Wolf, the watch features a rainbow of 36 baguette-cut sapphires, with the case having a set with 56 more diamonds, and its hour markers coming in the form of 11 more sapphires. The Daytona Rainbow is most likely the crown jewel of Mahomes' collection with the watch retailing at around $96,000, as per Fratello Magazine.
It wasn't the first time that Mahomes flaunted a costly Rolex watch. He also showcased yet another piece from his collection when he wore a Rolex Yacht-Master 40 tagged at a lucrative price tag of $47, 150 in their Super Bowl LIV championship parade last year.
He ensuingly flexed another Rolex in the GMT-Master II back in the Chiefs' ring ceremony back in September prior to the start of the 2020 NFL season. Football fans can expect more luxury watches to be worn by Mahomes especially after he landed the largest contract in sports history with a 10-year, $503 million deal in the offseason.
Similar to his loud fashion style, Mahomes is also making a statement on the field as he is looking poised to have another groundbreaking campaign this season. His team is currently enjoying a 9-1 record to nab the pole position in the AFC West division through Week 11 proceedings.
The 2018 NFL MVP will aim to lead on his team's forefront once again as he headlines the Chiefs' bid to defend their Super Bowl title in the coming 2020 NFL Playoffs.
