Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

Kelce was also limited in practice all of last week and proceeded to catch 10 passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs' Divisional Round playoff win over the Houston Texans, so this probably more precautionary than anything else.

The Pro Bowler also appears to be a bit healthier this week than he was last week, as there has been no mention of the hamstring issue that was a problem heading into the Texans game.

So, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Kelce will likely be on the field when Kansas City hosts the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

On the season overall, Kelce hauled in 97 receptions for 1,229 yards and five touchdowns.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Cincinnati, was originally selected by the Chiefs in the third round (63rd pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He missed his entire rookie campaign due to injury, but made his mark in 2014, catching 67 passes for 862 yards and five scores. Kelce then followed that up by snaring 72 balls for 875 yards while reaching the end zone five times in 2015, making his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Since then, Kelce has remained one of the best tight ends in football, having logged four straight 1,000-yard campaigns since 2016 and earning five consecutive Pro Bowl selections in the process.

The Westlake, Oh. native has also notched First-Team All-Pro honors twice.
