Only Kawhi Leonard could stop the ruthless Luka Doncic and his Dallas Mavericks, and when the Los Angeles Clippers needed him most, he stepped up and didn't vanish.

In Game 6 that would have sent the Clippers home with tears in their eyes, Leonard showcased why he is considered the best two-way player in the league today. The Klaw put up 45 points on top of six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 41 minutes of action. What's more amazing is the fact that he did it in an ultra-efficient way, making 18 of his 25 field goal attempts for a 72 percent shooting clip.

Now, according to ESPN Stats & Info, Leonard is only the fourth player in NBA playoffs history with 45 points on at least 70 percent shooting. The other three players? Well, it's only LeBron James, Jamal Murray and Wilt Chamberlain.

That's some good company to be part of, for sure!

Before Game 6, ESPN also pointed out how much Kawhi Leonard has struggled in the clutch since joining the Clippers. He was only 1-of-12 on potential game-tying or go-ahead shots in the final minute of the fourth quarter or overtime. However, on Friday against the Mavs, Leonard erased those notions with two big-time shots that allowed LA to pull away for good.

While the Clippers probably wish he has played like this right from the start, this is still way better than never showing up and collapsing once again.
