Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal is one of the latest names jumping off the Paul George bandwagon. The Los Angeles Lakers legend won three titles in Hollywood, and he recently stated on his podcast that the Clippers must trade George in order to finally win their own title.

Via TMZ:

“You gotta use [George] to get 2 good solid players because I need Kawhi [Leonard] to be the man. See Kawhi, I don't want Kawhi to delegate,” Shaq says after subliminally suggesting to his co-host that George should be traded. “See, when Kawhi was with Toronto he knew he was the man, everybody knew he was the man. Now you got one guy that thinks he's the man, one guy that is the man.”

The Clippers are trying to distance themselves from the dysfunctional season they suffered during their first year with both Leonard and George as the new faces of the franchise. After a shameful elimination from the playoffs in which they blew a 3-1 lead to the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers have found themselves in multiple headlines, with George often being at the forefront of most.

If the rumors are true that most of the players went sour on George after their defeat to the Nuggets, the Clippers will have to look at that aspect along with the mismatching at times when both George and Leonard shared the floor.

On the other hand, the Clippers might be confident that the presence of Tyronn Lue, better health and a slightly tweaked roster is all that's needed to reach the promised land.
