After Phoenix Suns wing Kelly Oubre Jr. put Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George on a poster in the beginning of their Tuesday night matchup, the six-time NBA All-Star made sure to get his revenge.

After stealing a pass from Oubre at the top of the key in the second quarter, George found himself with an open lane to the basket. With Oubre trailing close behind, George elevated for a one-handed slam pushing through the defense of the trailing Suns defender.

George joined the Clippers after being traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder this offseason. The Clips gave up Danillo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and five future first round picks for the Thunder superstar, but the trade allowed Los Angeles to form one of the best duos in the entire league.

Along with two-time Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard, George and co. have led the Clippers to a 20-8 record prior to Tuesday's game. The team currently sits at second place in the Western Conference behind their rival Los Angeles Lakers.

With George and Leonard at the helm, the Doc Rivers-led squad is expected to compete for an NBA championship in 2020.

Last year, George had a career year for the Thunder and ended the season third in MVP voting. This 2019-20, the 6-foot-8 forward is averaging 24.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from deep.
