The Indianapolis Colts had a team meeting where all the players and coaches are registering to vote.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett and head coach Frank Reich led the effort, per Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.

Voting has always been an important issue that is sadly overlooked by some in our society. However, recently there has been a very strong divide in the country. And that has led to more and more people realizing just how valuable their vote could be.

With that in mind, this is an incredible move by Indianapolis. You really need to tip your cap to Brissett and Reich—especially Brissett who was called the “leading voice” in doing it.

That's impressive considering he is not even the starting quarterback anymore, yet he was not afraid to be a leader and speak up on this issue.

No matter what side of any argument you are on, it's impossible to downplay the importance of voting. With that in mind, it is really hard to see how anyone could have a problem with this move by the Colts.

Indianapolis is simply ensuring that all of the players and coaches in the organization are given the opportunity to vote and have their voices heard when it matters the most.

Teams all across the NFL and the sports world in general have been heavy in meetings and discussions. Due to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, many teams and players have been speaking out.

There have been team activities, practices and games postponed and cancelled. Some are protest, others are screening documentaries to help educate their players (the Green Bay Packers). And it appears like all of them are having discussions.

The Colts used their time to not only discuss issues, but try to make sure that their organization is part of the change that they want to make.
