The NFL has successfully undergone Week 1 proceedings with very few fans present in the stadiums. Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is expecting their supporters to come in at a 25% capacity in their second game against the Atlanta Falcons on September 20. The presumptive statement has not yet been officially confirmed by the organization.

NFL Update posted what the Cowboys are expecting in the AT&T Stadium in their first home game of the season via Twitter:

Back in August, team owner Jerry Jones has already announced that the team will play in front of fans amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He still didn't have an expectation for how many fans could be in attendance but noted that the Cowboys would follow Texas state protocols.

The organization will be the team that will allow the largest capacity of fans in their stadium in the event that it will push through. The pandemic has certainly altered the entire football scene moving forward. With shortened offseason preparations, several players are still finding their groove on the gridiron while a handful of teams also saw their players get sidelined due to injuries.

On the field, the Cowboys recently concluded their Week 1 matchup on a nail-biting encounter against the Los Angeles Rams. They will plan to change the narrative as America's team is going to get a much-needed boost with fans expecting to come in to support them in their home-opener.

The Cowboys and the Falcons will both gut it out in Week 2 to grab their first win of the 2020 season.
