The Dallas Cowboys have found a way to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in every phase of the game in Week 7. Cornerback Xavier Woods found a way to solidify that notion by helping stamp out any notion of a comeback.

Woods was able to pick off quarterback Caron Wentz on a pass intended for wide receiver Alshon Jeffery during the fourth quarter, via PFF:

With Dallas already up by 20 at the time, the interception essentially helped to secure the victory. Fortunately, the offense wasted no time in putting the nail in the coffin by scoring a touchdown on the ensuing drive to extend their monster lead.

For Wentz, the interception was just the cherry on top of an otherwise disastrous game for himself. The stingy Cowboys defense has not allowed much of anything through the air or on the ground. As a result, they are now poised to take the top spot in the NFC East Division.
