The Miami Dolphins struck first with a long, scoring drive on the opening possession. They have since wasted no time following it up with an other trip to the end zone.

Running back Jordan Howard managed to punch in a one-yard run at the goal line to give the Dolphins an early 14-0 lead, via NFL Twitter:

The Dolphins took their time on the first possession with a 12-play, 84-yard opening drive that almost spanned seven minutes. However, they decided not to waste any time in capitalizing on a three-and-out by the Jaguars on the next series.

Howard took a backseat to running back Myles Gaskin to start the game until he was plugged in as a red zone vulture to score the touchdown. Although Miami may have fallen short in their first two games of the 2020 NFL season, their efforts have so far have put them in control to finally secure a win.
