The Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to give their “Stache Brothers” Steven Adams and Enes Kanter heavy runs this season, due to the departure of a couple of major rotation guys.
Right behind them is another big man with a solid ceiling in rookie Domantas Sabonis. Drafted by the Orlando Magic, and subsequently traded to the Thunder in the Serge Ibaka deal, the son of NBA legend Arvydas Sabonis was supposed be attract plenty of onlookers being a lottery pick.
Just recently, the younger Sabonis gave fans a mild scare when he was seen with his finger noticeably wrapped in bandage.
Erik Horne of The Oklahoman clarified the big man’s status.
FYI, Sabonis says wrap on left index finger is from cutting it while lifting weights. Had to get some stitches but OK for camp.
