The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have one of the more heated rivalries in the NFC East. Even though it's the NFL offseason, the rivalry is seemingly in full swing. Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith held a charity softball game this past weekend, with newly acquired star wideout AJ Brown going head-to-head with Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons in a home run derby. Brown emerged victorious and then dished out some trash talk afterwards, per CBS Sports.

“Get your popcorn ready and tell Micah Parsons he can get ready for this s—,” Brown said as the crowd thundered in applause.

Brown told the crowd to “get their popcorn ready” and then immediately informed Parsons to “get ready for this s***.” Brown wasted no time in jumping right into the Eagles-Cowboys rivalry.

Friendly home run derby be damned! The former Titans receiver hasn't even suited up in Eagles threads yet and he already burns with a deep desire to beat the Cowboys.

Kudos to Smith for inviting both Brown and Parsons, as it made for must-see action. That's presumably what the upcoming Eagles-Cowboys showdowns will be in 2022, as they project to be the two best teams in the division.

Get your popcorn ready, indeed.
