Don't look now but the comeback kid is looking a certain sort of way.

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills joined PFT Live with Mike Florio and revealed that “Carson Wentz looked like Carson Wentz” at minicamp.

“He looked like Carson Wentz,” Mills said. “Of course he wasn’t scrambling and he didn’t rush out of the pocket, but when he was sitting in the pocket during seven-on-seven drills when he was allowed, he was out there throwing strikes, doing things he always does.”

Wentz, 25, finds himself in one unique situation this offseason.

As the clear-cut young face of the franchise for the long-haul, a late-season injury led to roaming the sidelines while watching and rooting on Nick Foles and his teammates to a Super Bowl 52 title.

Usually, one of the two would have been moved. It didn't happen.

Instead, the recently-crowned hero, Foles, remains employed while Wentz takes on the role of “comeback kid” en route to that starting role. Many questions naturally arise when the Super Bowl hero is the clear backup, but it seems as though everything is looking right in Philly.

As Jalen Mills claims, young Carson Wentz is looking exactly like the usual Carson Wentz in practice.
