Despite winning a Super Bowl just a few seasons ago, the Philadelphia Eagles are still eyeing one goal and one goal only — another Super Bowl title, of course. According to Eagles All-Pro defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, Philadelphia's goal has not changed due to the fact that the NFC East franchise is only a few seasons removed from its first ever Super Bowl title.

“That's always the goal,” Cox recently said, via CBS Sports. “Take care of the division, get to the postseason and take it from there.”

It is also worth noting that Cox and company also reached the playoffs last year, though the Eagles were unable to reach the Super Bowl for a second consecutive season. Even so, the surging Eagles will once again be forced to compete against the always dangerous Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East with the latter winning the division a season ago.

On the other hand, the New York Giants and Washington Redskins are not expected to compete at a high level come the 2019 campaign, leaving the Eagles — and the Cowboys — with a favorable position in the division.

Of course, current Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles was under center to seal the deal in Philadelphia as the Eagles infamously upended the heralded New England Patriots. With fellow signal caller Carson Wentz officially taking over the reins with Foles moving on this offseason, it is definitely time to see if the former No. 2 overall pick can step up to the plate for an entire season.
