Ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots taking the field against each other for the first time since Super Bowl 52 on Thursday night, plenty of moments from the instant classic are being rehashed.

One of which is Tom Brady's decision not to shake any of the Eagles players' hands after the game, including quarterback Nick Foles. In light of that, Foles voiced that he doesn't hold any ill will toward Brady and has a tremendous amount of respect for him, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.

“It will happen when it happens. We practiced with the Patriots several years ago, and I got to stand there and talk to Tom for quite a bit. He's a great guy. I have all the respect in the world for him,” said Foles.

“I think everyone's making a really big deal out of this and it's not a big deal at all. I've already talked to him before, he's a guy I've always looked up to. You've got to admire someone who is probably the greatest ever and still going strong. I mean, even at his age he seems to get better and better. I've already had a conversation with him before when we practiced, so if we have one in the future, we'll have one and it will be cool.”

Foles clearly doesn't hold a grudge on this matter; rather, it's something that he has quickly moved past. The fact that Brady decided not to go through with the traditional postgame handshake caught much media attention, only heightened by the fact that he's one of the best players in the league.

Ultimately, the two will have a chance to talk once again following Thursday's game, if they feel the need to.
