Epic Games is stirring up a huge giveaway for players who purchase the upcoming Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comic book series. Each issue of the five-part comic book series will contain codes for specific cosmetics in Fortnite. Starting June this year, players can acquire all these cosmetics including two major Marvel character skins.
Earlier this year, Marvel announced a major comic book collaboration with Fortnite coming this June. The story of Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War will revolve around The Seven and several Marvel superheroes. The collaboration itself is already huge news, but yet, Epic Games found a way to make the crossover even bigger. Owners of the five-part comic book series will have access to exclusive Marvel cosmetics in Fortnite. These cosmetics include a weapon wrap, harvesting tool, spray, loading screen, and two Marvel character skins.
Epic didn’t reveal which Marvel skins are coming to Fortnite, however, we have a few assumptions on who they may be. One of them could possibly be Shuri from Black Panther considering she still doesn’t have a skin in Fortnite yet. Plus there’s also the fact that she’s going to be one of the main protagonists in the comic book series. As for the second skin, it’s still a mystery to all of us. Our best guess at the moment is that it could be anyone from the comic book covers. These are namely Thor, Storm, or Iron Man. While they are already technically skins in Fortnite, there’s a possibility that Epic Games would release a variation of their skins.
Whoever Epic decides to appoint as skins in Fortnite, it’s undoubtedly an awesome giveaway. We’re not entirely sure if these skins will eventually come out in the item shop. However, the chances of that happening is low. This would defeat the purpose of having exclusive rights to the skins as a comic book owner. Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War is coming out this June alongside exclusive Fortnite cosmetics.
