The F1 title race is coming down to the wire, with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton battling it out for the championship. While it's publically known these two aren't exactly fond of each other, Verstappen made it very clear that his opinion of the Brit has changed in 2021.

The two F1 stars have crashed three times this season and most notably, in the British Grand Prix where Verstappen ended up in the hospital for precautionary reasons. While he was getting checked up, Hamilton was seen celebrating his win. That upset his rival.

When asked in a media Zoom call on Thursday if his opinion of Hamilton and Mercedes had changed this year during their battle, Verstappen said: “Yes very much, and not in a positive way.”

The two F1 racers head into Abu Dhabi level on points, but a tie would go in Verstappen's favor because he has one more victory on the year than Hamilton. The Englishman is the most successful driver in the sport's history, collecting a total of eight championships in his career.

Buckle up, the F1 title challenge is going to be an exciting end. Don't count out another crash to ultimately decide who lifts the crown in Abu Dhabi. Whoever comes out victorious, expect little praise from the runner-up.
