The Atlanta Falcons are going to see Julio Jones in training camp after all. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff announced late Wednesday night that the team has come to an agreement on an adjusted contract with the star wide receiver, who will now report for camp on Thursday, per the team’s official website.

“We have had continued dialogue all offseason with Julio and his representation. We have come to an agreement with Julio, and we will re-address everything in 2019. I appreciate everyone’s hard work and communication on this. This adjustment does not impede us from working on other extensions with other key members of our football team. We will continue to work on those contracts going forward.”

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the revised contract will adjust Jones' 2018 salary and won't affect the team's cap for the upcoming season.

This is obviously huge news for the Falcons, who were facing the prospect of their star wideout continuing his holdout through training camp. Jones has sat out the entire offseason to date as he lobbied for a raise on his current contract, which still had three years and $34 million (all non-guaranteed) remaining.

The Falcons had initially told him he wouldn’t get a new deal this season but promised to renegotiate in 2019. That wasn’t quite good enough for Jones, but the added incentive of a bump in his 2018 salary was enough to end his holdout.

Jones is coming off another highly productive year in 2017 as he had 88 catches for 1,444 yards. And now that he’s set to take part in a full training camp as opposed to a holdout, he’ll look to extend his current streak of consecutive 1,400-yard seasons up to five this year.
