Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan says the team is doing everything they can to try and save coach Dan Quinn's job. Through all the losing this season, Quinn hasn't lost the respect of the locker room, and that's why it's important to the team they finish the season strong.

“He has the respect of the locker room and the guys play hard for Dan,” Ryan said during an interview on NFL NOW via Nick Sho0k of NFL.com. “There's no question about it. We all appreciate everything that he does for us, the style of coaching, and he's got great relationships with all of the guys in our locker room. So we love him. We are playing hard and doing everything we can for him.”

After a terrible start to the season, the Falcons have turned things around, which makes the start of the season even more confusing. The Falcons have won two games in a row, including a win in their last game over the vaunted San Francisco 49ers.

For a defense that has struggled most of the season, they sure stepped up against a high powered offense, and that was enough to pull out the win. The 49ers seem to be playing inspired football to try and save Quinn's job.

Ryan understands the NFL is a production-based business, but he hopes good production in the last few games will keep Quinn in charge.

“I've been in this profession long enough to know that it's a production based business,” Ryan said. “I hope it is because we love him and he's a great football coach.”
