Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. will indeed be taking on YouTube sensation Logan Paul after all.

With the two personalities originally slated to matchup in the squared circle earlier this year, the boxing match has now officially been rescheduled for June 6th. The 44-year-old Mayweather will be fighting the 26-year-old Paul down in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium come the summer.

The initial bout between Mayweather and Paul was scheduled for February 20th, but it was postponed early on in the month of February. Although it was announced that the fight would take place later this year after it was forced into postponement, no new date was given until Tuesday.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has not fought in a professional capacity since back in 2017 when he defeated former two-division world champion and UFC superstar Conor McGregor, who was making his boxing debut. As a result of the TKO victory over McGregor, Mayweather notably earned his 50th career win en route to improving to a perfect 50-0. It is also worth noting that Mayweather then fought Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018 in an exhibition match.

On the other hand, this will only be Logan Paul's second professional boxing match as he previously squared off against another YouTube personality, KSI. With that fight taking place in November 2019, Paul would go on to lose via split decision and hasn't stepped foot in the ring since. Paul's younger brother, Jake Paul, is a perfect 3-0 as a professional boxer while most recently knocking out former UFC welterweight and wrestling legend Ben Asken earlier this April.
