Jake Paul is for real. In case you need some more convincing, he just knocked out former UFC Welterweight contender Ben Askren in less than one round.

Paul, who already has retired NBA player Nate Robinson on his list of KO victims, added Askren on Saturday in the main event of their boxing match in Atlanta, Georgia. After gauging the distance with a textbook jab, Paul tried to headhunt with a powerful overhand right.

The 24-year-old YouTuber missed his haymaker before throwing another perfect one-two combination. He hit the former Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight champion squared on the jaw, dropping him like a sack of potatoes on the canvass.

Check out the brutal blow that ended things below:

The 36-year-old Ben Askren was able to get back to his feet before the standing eight count. However, the fight ended in a controversial manner after the ref waived the fight off, claiming that Askren was wobbly and can no longer fight intelligently.

The impressive KO win, meanwhile, improved Jake Paul's undefeated boxing record to 3-0. Interestingly enough, the younger fighter came in as the underdog in the fight, considering Askren's extensive resume as an Olympic wrestler and professional fighter.

But it is worth noting that he did not look to be in fight shape for this bout, plus striking is really not his strong suit. Regardless, who do you want to see Jake Paul go up against next?
