The Genshin Impact version 2.4 Special Program Livestream has gotten us all excited for the upcoming updates. However, in all our excitement, some of us might have missed the exact release date of the new version update. So, here we are informing you of when Genshin Impact‘s version 2.4 release date will be, along with the dates of the phases and its character event banners.
Genshin Impact version 2.4 Release Date: January 5, 2022
The first new version of the year 2022 will be version 2.4, which will be released on January 5, 2022. As usual, it will be split into two phases. See the relevant dates below:
Phase 1: January 5 – January 25, 2022
Character Event Banners: Invitation to Mundane Life (Xiao) and The Transcendent One Returns (Shenhe)
Phase 2: January 25 – February 15, 2022
Character Event Banners: Adrift in the Harbor (Ganyu) and Gentry of Hermitage (Zhongli)
Sadly, we don't know yet all of the 4-Star Characters that will be featured in these Character Event Banners. All we know is that Yun Jin will be featured in both banners in Phase 1. However, it's safe to assume that the characters that will be featured here will be coming from Liyue. This version will be focusing on that region, anyway.
