After last month's announcement of Horizon Zero Dawn's protagonist, Aloy making her way to Genshin Impact, new leaks have surfaced regarding her abilities. The past announcement showed off her splash art and weapon. However, it did not contain details about her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. The new leak, posted on Reddit, shows off Aloy's gameplay footage, which can be seen below:
Genshin Impact welcomes Horizon Zero Dawn‘s Aloy
Aloy will be coming into Genshin Impact as a 5-star cryo character who wields a bow. Additionally, Honey Impact details her individual skills and abilities, which we've summarized below. In addition, you can check out how to get Aloy in Genshin Impact in our guide here.
Aloy's Normal Attack: Rapid Fire
- Normal Attack: Aloy sends out four bow arrows in rapid succession.
- Charged Attack: Aloy charges her bow shot, imbuing it with biting frost and dealing Cryo damage to any enemy hit.
- Plunging Attack: Aloy fires a shower of arrows into the sky before striking the ground, dealing AoE damage to all nearby foes.
Aloy's Elemental Skill: Frozen Wilds
Aloy throws a Freeze Bomb in the targeted direction that explodes on impact, dealing Cryo damage. After it explodes, the Freeze Bomb will split up into numerous Chillwater Bomblets. These explode on contact with enemies, or after a short delay, dealing Cryo damage.
When a Freeze Bomb or Chillwater Bomblet hits an opponent, the opponent's ATK is reduced and Aloy receives one Coil Stack.
Aloy can gain up to 1 Coil stack every 0.1s. Each stack increases Aloy's Normal Attack damage. When she has 4 Coil stacks, she gains Rushing Ice, which converts her Normal Attack damage into Cryo damage.
While under the effects of Rushing Ice, Aloy cannot receive new Coil stacks. Coil effects will be cleared 30 seconds after Aloy leaves the field.
Aloy's Elemental Burst: Prophecies of Dawn
Aloy throws a Power Cell filled with Cryo in the targeted direction. Afterward, she detonates it with an arrow, dealing AoE Cryo damage.
