New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones found fellow first-year teammate in wide receiver Darius Slayton for a second-quarter touchdown against the Detroit Lions in the Motor City. The score cut the Giants' deficit to a single touchdown (via NFL).

The Giants are battling Detroit on the road following three consecutive losses with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft at the helm of the offense. Slayton, meanwhile, is a fifth-round pick from the draft out of Auburn who scored his first career touchdown in Week 5's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jones is searching for answers in New York's offense, which has topped out for 21 points last week in its third straight loss. The Giants have averaged 15 points per game during the losing streak, but today's touchdown to Slayton and another Slayton score in the second quarter has tied the game for the Giants.
