Gordon Hayward is officially a member of the Boston Celtics, but that doesn't mean he has to embody being a true-blooded Bostonian, especially when it comes to football.

Hayward, who was born and raised in Indiana, is understandably an Indianapolis Colts fan. So, when the Butler product took part of Champs Sports' ice bath-slash-trivia challenge titled Going Numb, his first instinct when given the clue of “best quarterback of all time” was to reply with “Peyton Manning“:

Manning, of course, is the legendary quarterback who won five NFL MVP awards and a Super Bowl title for the Colts back in 2007. However, the answer that the show was looking for was the New England Patriots golden boy, Tom Brady.

Luckily for Hayward, he had the instincts to immediately counter his first answer with the five-time Super Bowl champ's name to get the correct response and save himself from spending another long second dipped in frigid waters.

The Indy native's disdain for Brady has been documented before. During an off-court segment while he was still a member of the Utah Jazz, Hayward was asked to choose between two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL: Brady, or the Green Bay PackersAaron Rodgers. Obviously, he went with the latter:

Hayward even threw in a quick parting shot after replying “Aaron Rodgers” by saying, “I can't stand Tom Brady.”

Now, that's cold.
