After one of the craziest endings to a game in recent memory, the Green Bay Packers head into Soldier Field this week with the hopes of having a less stressful game against the Chicago Bears. Week 5 saw the Packers and Cincinnati Bengals trade five missed field goals from the last two and a half minutes of the game until Mason Crosby drilled a game-winner to walk it off in overtime.

Green Bay made franchise history in the contest as well, as Aaron Rodgers went 27/39 for 344 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, Davante Adams caught 11 balls for 206 yards and a touchdown, and Aaron Jones rushed for 103 yards, making it the first ever game where a Packer threw for 300+ yards, accumulated 200+ receiving yards, and rushed for 100+ yards as well. Quite the accomplishment.

As for the Bears, theyā€™re coming off of a dominant 20-9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in which the defense and ground game dominated, and Justin Fields threw for his first ever NFL passing touchdown. It was an encouraging all-around victory, given that the Bearsā€™ offense played poorly and Chicago still won comfortably.

Will the Packers continue rolling and grow their lead in the NFC North? Or will Chicago pull off the upset, backed by their home crowd? Here are four bold predictions for the contest.

Packers Week 6 Predictions

4. Randall Cobb feasts from the slot

Though the Bears defense dominated last game, Hunter Renfrow was still able to have the best game out of Raiders receivers, racking up six catches for 56 yards. That should mean plenty of opportunities for slot technician Randall Cobb to find space underneath while Davante Adams draws attention over the top. There arenā€™t many connections between QB and receiver better than Rodgers and Cobb from their days in the 2010s, and there would be no better time to deliver a huge game than against their fierce rival Chicago.

3. Eric Stokes picks off Fields twice

Stokes is being thrust into a starting cornerback role with Jaire Alexanderā€™s injury, but even as a rookie he has performed well to start the year. With blazing 4.28 speed, he showed last week against the Bengals that even when he gets beat, he has the closing speed to make plays on the ball in difficult situations. Against a fellow rookie in Justin Fields, Stokes will be able to bait a few ill-advised throws, and get the Packers offense going in the other direction.

2. Aaron Rodgers turns in vintage performance

Rodgers has had a good year by all accounts, but hasnā€™t quite had the eye-popping performance from a statistical standpoint that weā€™re used to seeing from him, even as recently as last season. Playing in Chicago has a tendency of bringing out his best, though, and heā€™s due for a big game. His receiving corps is healthy for the most part, and the Packers will be forced to air it out against a stout Bears run defense. Big game incoming.

1. Packers dominate from start to finish

After two straight last-second field goal walk-offs, the Packers have made things exciting for fans with late game dramatics. However, theyā€™re simply more talented than the Bears. Theyā€™ll jump out to an early lead, and wonā€™t look back.
