After playing for him for four seasons, Gregg Popovich knows Steve Kerr better than most people in the NBA today. The two worked together from 1998-2003 and won two championships, before the 6-foot-3 point guard retired.

Now that he is also a champion head coach like him, Kerr has made Popovich even more proud, especially with what he's accomplished so far in Oakland. However, when asked if he still gives Kerr advice up to this day, the 68-year-old joked about hating him and not helping him out in any way anymore.

With the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors facing off in the Western Conference Finals, the matchup is expected to be a battle between some of the biggest stars of the league today, and also between two coaches with different styles.

Although Kerr is currently on leave because of his back condition, his system is still being ran by the Warriors. Popovich on the other hand is known for making the right adjustments in-game, to give the Spurs a better chance at winning. He may have made a hilarious comment about his counterpart from the Dubs, but as soon as the series begins, it's going to business-like once again for the five-time champion coach, as he is very focused on leading the Spurs to the NBA Finals and have another shot at winning a title.
