In the Memphis Grizzlies' Game 2 win over the Golden State Warriors, the Dillon Brooks was kicked out early after a dirty foul on Gary Payton II. Brooks was tossed from the game while Payton suffered an elbow injury that will take weeks to recover from. Although he could return during the NBA playoffs, it was a nasty injury and one that Brooks is responsible for.

The NBA announced that Brooks will be suspended for Saturday's Game 3, the first game of the series at the Warriors' Chase Center, for his actions. The Grizzlies will look to take a 2-1 advantage without one of their leading scorers and key defenders while the Warriors look to do the same without one of their key bench players.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said the play “broke the code” and now this team is without one of its key perimeter defenders. This is a huge blow for Golden State with Ja Morant having such a strong series so far. After a 47-point outburst, trying to slow Morant down will be much tougher for the Warriors' guards.

Brooks has started each game in this year's NBA playoffs so far, averaging 13.4 points per game on 34.8 percent field-goal shooting. The Grizzlies have shined so far in this year's playoffs but will face a very tough fight against the Warriors in their house.

Both games in the Warriors-Grizzlies series have been close. With the series shifting to a new location, Memphis will have to prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with on the road.
