It looks like the fathers of Karl-Anthony Towns and Ja Morant had some side bet during the Minnesota Timberwolves-Memphis Grizzlies playoffs series.

After the Grizzlies eliminated the Timberwolves from the playoffs, Tee Morant asked his son to give his jersey for Karl Towns Sr. to wear. The Towns patriarch proceeded with an alternative, though, just holding Morant's jersey up since he couldn't wear it–perhaps because it won't fit him.

It's definitely a fun ending to what has been an exciting series between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves. For what it's worth, the two dads had been trash talking each other since the start of the competition, often barking on the sidelines as they show how proud they are of their children.

Unfortunately for the Towns family, Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves eventually fell to Ja Morant and the Grizzlies 4-2. While it looked like Minnesota would be able to win Game 6 with a 10-point lead heading to the final quarter, they weren't able to hold on to the advantage (for the third time) and succumbed to the visitors 114-106.

It would have been nice had it extended to a Game 7 and we see Karl Towns Sr. and Tee Morant go at it for one last time. But hey, seeing the elder Towns lose a bet and get Morant's jersey is pretty great to see as well.
