Atlanta Hawks star duo John Collins and Trae Young were out there leading the way for ATL in Game 1 of the ECF against the Milwaukee Bucks. Collins and Young were an unstoppable one-two punch for the Hawks as they squashed any on-court chemistry issues with insane highlights worthy of an NBA Top Shot Moment.

“Trae is obviously an elite passer and I'm a freak athlete in my own right so I feel like when the chemistry is right between us I feel like that stuff can happen,” Collins said after Game 1 (via NBA on TNT).

Collins was the recipient of a couple of incredible dimes from his 22-year-old point guard. One of the best plays to come out of the 116-113 thriller was an amazing off-the-backboard alley-oop in the third quarter which the Hawks forward had to address after the game.

Even Kent Bazemore, formerly of the Atlanta Hawks, pointed out how ballsy the two were in pulling off that play. The Golden State Warriors vet tweeted out during the game that Collins and Young would actually practice those types of play during training to further solidify how great the chemistry is between the Hawks' two main stars.

“You know it's funny, we've actually done [before],” Collins laughingly agreed. “We did it in Brooklyn in a real game and we did it in a preseason game before as well so I feel that we actually have game reps of doing that. It was real ballsy on his end to throw it and you know, I gotta go get it.”

I guess it's safe to say that all the chemistry issues between John Collins and Trae Young have clearly evaporated.
