It's tough to win in the NBA. Stars like Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young would be the first to tell you that you need every edge you can get to eke out a victory by any means necessary.

But the Hawks star might have gone a little too far with this one, as he was caught on camera feigning being hurt to try to cajole a call out of the referee. Check out Trae Young's sneaky play from Game 4 here below:

The funny part is that his acting actually worked. The Hawks got a favorable whistle, which may or may not have been deserved regardless of Young's trickery. However, it's certainly a bad look given that he'd obviously get caught on one of the dozens of cameras in the arena.

But at the end of the day, the Hawks star is just trying desperately to get a leg up over his opponents in this one. Trae Young and his Hawks are a stone's throw away from an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, and in this case, the end might truly justify the means.
