As most NBA All-Stars do, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is inspiring the next generation of basketball players.

ESPN's Chris Burke shared a wonderful video of his son practicing in the basement, trying to be like Young. The Hawks star saw the video and was very impressed by what he witnessed:

This kid has some impressive handles already. You can tell he's been watching Young very closely.

With the NBA season suspended because of the coronavirus, the video of this kid doing his best Trae Young impersonation is the closest thing we have to basketball. The NBA isn't expected to resume play until maybe June or July. Three players in the league have the coronavirus: Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Christian Wood.

Before the season got suspended, Young was putting up superstar numbers for the Hawks. The second-year guard out of Oklahoma was averaging 29.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists while shooting 43.7 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 86.0 percent from the free-throw line.

While the Hawks did have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference, Young has already proven he's going to be the franchise point guard in Atlanta for the next decade or so. The Hawks have some good pieces around Young in John Collins, Clint Capela, Kevin Huerter, De'Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish.

Atlanta will try and make the playoffs next season once Capela makes his Hawks debut. The big man hasn't played with the Hawks since his trade from the Houston Rockets because of a nagging heel injury.
