It's only preseason, but things are already getting a little chippy. Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young looked visibly furious and shoved Memphis Grizzlies guard Grayson Allen after the former committed a foul early in the third quarter. The two eventually jawed at each other before their teammates came over to calm the situation down.

Watch the entire sequence below:

Grayson Allen looks like he's already in mid-season form. The former Duke standout is known for being a little chippy to say the least, and it seems like he got into the head of Trae Young.

As the commentators touched on during the broadcast, it isn't clear where Young's frustration came from. Based on the replay, it seemed like Allen gave a subtle elbow to Young as he drove to basket. Ice Trae probably did not appreciate the cheap shot and reacted negatively with a second motion after already committing the foul.

The commentators also noted that Young wasn't having a good stretch over their past two games against the Grizzlies and his frustration may have just reached a boiling point. Both Young and Allen received technical fouls for the altercation.

Memphis dealt Atlanta a 22-point defeat on Friday night and enter the fourth quarter of Saturday's contest with a 10-point cushion. Young struggled in 26 minutes on the front end of their back-to-back games, shooting just 4-of-15 from the field and 2-of-8 from long distance. The one-time All-Star finished with 15 points, four rebounds, and six assists.

As of this writing, Young has failed to connect on any of his triple tries on Saturday. Meanwhile, Allen has made all of his four field goals, including three 3-pointers.

The Hawks open their season in Chicago against the Bulls on Dec. 23, while Memphis begins their campaign at home on the same day versus the San Antonio Spurs.
