The Atlanta Hawks visited the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night and fans were treated to a nostalgic sight as two old rivals in Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant, who was in attendance, shared a special moment at courtside.

Carter is playing in his 22nd NBA season, a league record, and is having an informal and low key retirement tour. He is the remaining active player who has played in the 1990s.

In fact, an impressive feat awaits the 42-year-old the second he steps foot on the court next year. By doing so, Carter would become the first NBA player to have played in four different decades — the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.

Meanwhile, Bryant is enjoying retirement by keeping himself busy with business and mentoring his daughter Gianna in her own basketball journey.
